R290 heat pump is often called propane heat pump. Thanks to the use of R290 refrigerant, it has a unique adaptability to hot climates compared to traditional refrigerants like R22 and R410A.
R290 refrigerant features high thermal conductivity, large latent heat of evaporation, and small compressor load, which can extend the service life of the compressor. The use of R290 refrigerant can save energy by about 30%.
